The lodge sleeps up to 6 people. There are 2 private rooms, each with its own private bathroom and shower. Between the closed bedrooms is an open space (45 square meters) with the kitchen and living room.

The living room has a sofa bed that sleeps 2 people. There is a third bathroom that has a private shower, washing machine, and a dryer that guests have access to.

The kitchen is well equipped with a stove, oven, microwave, fridge with freezer, and dishwasher, along with all the main utensils needed for cooking. There is also WIFI in the house.

The bedrooms and living room have several large windows with an amazing view. From the living room and the bedrooms you can look out to the countryside and to the sea; Hvammsfjördur and Breiðafjördur. The kitchen offers mountain views.

All the windows in the house, except the bathrooms, have black-out curtains to use during the summer’s bright nights. From both of the bedrooms and living room, you can walk out to the 10 square meter balconies.

Háafell Luxury Lodge is located on our farmland but we also run a sheep farm, Háafell Farm.

The sheep from the farm roam free in the mountains during the summer. The horses and the friendly dogs stay near the surroundings of the Farm and we hope they will bring some joy to your stay. We give our guests the privacy they need but we are available if needed.

The lodge stands on a foothill of 130 meters above sea level and offers unprecedented views overlooking the countryside and the sea towards Hvammsfjördur and Breiðafjördur. Guests can enjoy beautiful midnight sunsets on bright summer nights and/or the Northern Lights during the winter.

This accommodation gives you the opportunity to leave the commotion and the hassle of the world behind and enter unprecedented peace and quiet environment in the Icelandic nature in the mountainside.
